Wilkins Research Services, LLC (WRS) recognizes the importance that its employees, customers and other users of its websites place on the privacy and security of their information, and we are committed to protecting it as described in this Online Privacy Notice.
This Notice applies to your use of the WRS Human Resource Management System (HRMS). By using the HRMS, you consent to the data practices described in this Notice.
Collection of your Personal Information
While using the HRMS, you may choose to provide personally identifiable information such as your Social Security number, e-mail address, home or work addresses, telephone numbers, your username and password to access the HRMS, date of birth, driver’s license or other government issued identification numbers, emergency contact information, employment eligibility data, education history, employment history, military service information, language proficiency, benefit plan enrollment information, which may also include dependent personal information, school/college or certification credentials, and medical and financial information. Some information may be given voluntarily while other fields are required, indicated by (*). WRS may use this personal information to the extent necessary or appropriate for compliance with applicable state or federal law, contractual obligations and for other internal human resource purposes such as conducting pre-employment background checks, verification of employment eligibility, state and federal tax withholding, electronic payroll deposits, state new-hire reporting, and enrollment in company benefit programs.
There is also information about your computer hardware and software that may be automatically collected by WRS. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information may be used by WRS for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the WRS HRMS site.
Use of your Personal Information
WRS collects and uses your personal information to make hiring and employment related decisions such as to provide applicant support and communication regarding the hiring process, manage your account(s), evaluation for job openings, conducting background checks, and other human resources functions to the extent allowed and required by state or federal law. WRS also collects and uses your personal information to comply with government reporting and disclosure requirements, to pursue business operations, and to operate the HRMS site.
The Wilkins Research Services, LLC Human Resource Management Systems site use computer “cookies” to help your personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

Whenever your personal information (such as a social security number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
Sharing of your Personal Information
WRS does not sell or otherwise share personal information about you, except as described in this Notice. We also share personal information with third parties who perform services on our behalf based on our instructions. These third parties are not authorized by us to use or disclose the information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or comply with state or federal law.
WRS reserves the right to update this Notice from time to time to reflect changes to our personal information practices. WRS encourages you to periodically review this Notice to keep informed of how WRS is protecting your information.
Wilkins Research Services, LLC and it’s approved third parties may use and maintain appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards to prevent any accidental, unlawful or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure or use of the information collected.
WRS provides you with choices about how we communicate with you and what information we collect from you. If you wish to update the personal information you have submitted, you may go to the Personal Info section on our HRMS site or you also may contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to submit requests or update your preferences.
WRS maintains and stores certain personal information it collects during the legally required record retention period and in accordance with applicable law, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
WRS encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you may choose to access through the WRS’ HRMS so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. WRS is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of its HRMS site.
